Love the great country cooking at Al's Place. I haven't eaten here in over 20 years and had to stop in for breakfast. The food was as good as I remember, great friendly service. Love the atmosphere, complete with older local men sipping coffee and talking about the news weather, etc. Reminds me of home.

This is a quintessential part of Midwest Americana. Super relaxed atmosphere. You might even still catch The Walton's or M*A*S*H on the TV set, while waiting for your meal. Service is always friendly! Food is cooked in a good ole fashioned "down home" style. AND...don't forget desert!! BTW....it's ALL good!
